What blockchain technology is, the concept of decentralization, and the history of blockchain technology. Blockchain fundamentals and Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) will also be introduced. The benefits of blockchain technology along with its applications will be covered as well as the various challenged faced by blockchain technology.
Module 2
Distributed Ledgers, the financial applications of blockchain, determining if blockchain is the right solution, introduction to digital currency and wallets, some of the laws and regulations of deploying blockchain applications.
Module 3
Introduction to crypto assets, crypto economics.
Module 4
Creating Blockchain networks using Remix IDE
Module 5
History and introduction to Bitcoin, how the value of bitcoin is determined, task of bitcoin miners, components of bitcoin network, limitations, clients and variants.
Module 6
What is Blockchain as a service (BAAS), BAAS using Microsoft Azure, IBM and others.
Module 7
Security requirements in a business blockchain, smart contracts, verification of smart controls and securing end points.
Module 8
Introduction of Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies, performance vs Bitcoin.
Module 9
Introduction to open-source business blockchain frameworks, permissioned and permissionless blockchain, Hyperledger, different blockchain projects and tools.
Module 10
Decentralized Applications – DOs, DAOs, security and operation of DAOs
Module 11
Scalable blockchain, the issues, solutions and techniques to resolve such issues.
Module 12
Various Use cases of blockchain, and Identity on blockchain
Module 13
Blockchain of things, IoT vs Blockchain IoT model, and the advantages of IoT and BoT convergence.
General awareness of business management processes, basic knowledge of computers, access to a Linux machine that can be configures as a virtual machine
About IBF Certification for courses eligible for IBF Qualified (IBFQ)
Participants who successfully complete this course and fulfill the required number of Technical Skills and Competencies (TSCs) for the selected job role can apply to be conferred the IBF Qualified (IBFQ) certification status.
